Spark of Light Foundation was established on December 2008, by Poonam Nathu. Spark of Light Foundation’s (also known as SOL Foundation) aim is to provide the opportunity for education to under-privileged children in communities around Southern Asia. We strive to bridge the gab between the children and the quality of education they receive by overcoming all the different barriers they are faced in acquiring their dreams.

Vision:  “The Spark of Light Foundation views the significance of the opportunity for education available to children, in South Asia along side children of other countries, a principal foundation for a promising future.”

Mission:
** To create awareness of the importance and significance of education to children and their parents.
** To generate a line of communication between children and community members that are willing to take up the task to help ensure the quality of education these children in their own community are receiving.
** To establish educational institutions in rural areas that promote the importance of education by creating a positive image for learning through which the community can understand the impact that stable schooling can provide in the life of a child.
